  1. Nomination applications are accepted in both the Arabic and English languages.

2. The nomination letter from each nominee should be supported by an official nomination letter from the institution to which he/she belongs. A recommendation letter is a prerequisite for the acceptance of nomination for all the Award's categories.

3. One recent colour photograph of the nominee is required.

4. The nominee should provide his/her professional resumé, or an abstract description of the history, activities, and achievements of the nominated institution.

5. Individual nominees should submit a passport copy, to include (for expatriates) a copy of their valid residence permit, or (for UAE nationals) a copy of their family book.

6. For Award categories dedicated to educational centres or institutions, the nominee should provide a valid copy of the commercial registration license issued by the Municipality, the Ministry of Planning and the Chamber of Commerce.

7. Nominations for the two categories of 'Educational Research' and 'Educational Authoring for Children' (children's literature) should be submitted as three (3) hard copies, three (3) soft copies and an abstract. The soft copies should be saved and delivered on a USB flash memory stick.

8. Nominations for the 'Educational Research' category shall be accepted on the proviso that the research manuscript or typescript has been prepared in Arabic and has been authored, typed and published during either the year of, or the year prior to, nomination for the Award.

9. The nominee for the category of 'Educational Authoring for Children' should be a reputable researcher and distinguished author, with previous publications in the field of child education.

10. In all cases, every section of the nomination form must be filled in.
