  1. Nominations that do not meet nomination requirements shall be overlocked.

2. Nominated works and their attachments will not be returned to the applicants nominated for the Award.

3. The decisions of the jury and the results of the evaluation shall be deemed final in the results of applicants for the Award, and shall not be challenged.

4. The ownership of the winning work shall be organized; whether it be a book, a research, a project, or a program, in terms of its years or copyrights,  or its usage and application, within two years from the date of granting this Award, otherwise, the work becomes the property of its owner after those two years, according to the following principles:

A. In the event of the research winning the Award; being a printed and published research, 100 copies shall be submitted to the General Secretariat before conducting the ceremony of honoring and granting of awards.

B. In the event that the research is a manuscript, its intellectual property moves to the General Secretariat's Khalifa Award for Education, provided that the Secretariat shall print it out within two years from the date of receiving the Award, otherwise the intellectual property of the research shall return to the winner, who shall be committed to the content of the following paragraph (c).

C. In case the winner insists on keeping his research and printing it on his own expense, the following statement shall be written on the external cover and internal title page: "This research has won Khalifa Award for Education for the category of educational research, in session number............ for the year ………." . The winner should provide the General Secretariat with       (100) copies.  And awritten pledge shall be issued for the same, under    penalty of legal prosecution.

5. If  the candidate passes away after the submission and acceptance of his nomination, and wins the Award, his entitlement remains valid and shall be granted to his rightful heirs.

6. The candidate should not be an applicant to a similar award inside or outside the State in the same year he applies to Khalifa Award for Education. Furthermore, he should not have won another Award in the same field in which he applies for Khalifa Award for Education, as similar in the moral and financial value within two years of submitting the candidacy application.

7. It is required in the field of educational research that it has not been prepared to obtain a university degree, a master's degree or a PhD dissertation.

8. The Executive Committee has the right to ask the accepted candidates for examples of their accomplishments and publications ( referred to by the candidates in the applications), whether it be books, projects, programs, or innovations, abstaining from this may cause the cancellation of the nomination, if deemed appropriate by the Committee.

9. Applications that include incorrect information or data, or falsified documents shall be ignored upon discovering that, even in the event of winning the Award, or after the official announcement of the winners, and no matter how long after granting the Award.

10. A decision of the Board of Trustees shall determine the  cases in which the Award shall be taken back, in a manner consistent with the rights of intellectual freedom.

11. The cancellation of the winning and the restoration of the Award, and its components, shall be subject to the decision of the Board of Trustees.

12. In the case of announcing the winner and granting the Award in any field, and then cancelling the result, that  will be announced in the same media in which the winning was announced.

13. Applying for more than one field in the same year shall not be allowed, in according to the conditions of each area of the Award.

14. The candidates shall comply to the specifications of the following attachments, whether the attachment is a (box or a CD).

15. Evidences and documents shall be limited to the period between 3 to 5  years of the candidate's recent work.

16. All submitted documents and evidences shall be owned by the Award, and should not be returned back to their owners. Thus, the candidate shall have copies of the originals which shall be in his possession, to be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee at personal interviews, or field visits.

17. The size of all attachments should not exceed 25x40x15 inches, including the file containing them.

18. Attachments should be limited to A4 papers, VHS movies, cassette tapes, floppy disks, CD's, or Flash Sticks.

19. The most common software shall be used in the electronic documentation, along with including the names of files operating programs on the hard drives and CDs.

20. The attachments should be organized in order, as per the criteria for each area.

21. A sticker should be placed on the file of the candidate, mentioning the name of the candidate "for individuals – centers – institutions" / the field / the category / the state.
