| Educational projects and programs: A project or educational program for acadamics, technicals or vocationals undertaken by an individual, a group of individuals, or an educational institution, the results of which have yielded in educational outputs applicable in the field of education, or have been previously applied and its results have yielded in specific educational outputs, capable of developing the educational work in the field of education. Two Awards have been allocated to this field: one local and one Arab award. |

Conditions for nomination in the field of Innovative Educational Projects and Programs at the State Level and the Arab World:
• The project or program should not have won another Award inside the state of the candidate or abroad.
• The project should not be participating in a similar award in the country or outside it in the same year of applying to Khalifa Award for Education.
• The educational project should not have been submitted to obtain a bachelor degree, a diploma, a master's degree or a PhD.
• The educational project should not be submitted to acquire a promotion, or a post.
• In order to accept the nomination , the project or program should have been applied in the field of education, or is being currently implemented in the country of the candidate, by an official letter issued and stamped by the applying organization, referring to this application, and that the project has contributed, or may contribute, to enhance or improve the educational process.
• Along with the nomination form, the applicant should provide a full description of the project: inputs, outputs, place of application, method of application, and the achieved results.
• The candidate undertake to submit a presentation of the project before the judging committee and whoever it deems appropriate to attend this presentation, if required.

• Methodology and planning.
• Continuity and comprehensiveness.
• Convenience and realism.
• Educational outputs.
• Application and follow-up.

• A financial Award of AED 200,000.
• The shield of Khalifa Award for Education.
• A Certificate of Excellence for the field of "Innovative Educational Projects and Programs".
